Features
The 90 degree head makes it much easier to “push” and “pull” snow off the car, rather than “sweep” with a traditional brush. This is a much more efficient way of clearing snow and can save you precious time.
A foam head prevents scratches to your paint but also doubles as as a squeegee on those misty mornings.
The telescopic pole extends to 52in in length. This is just long enough to clear the snow off the roof of a small SUV from the one side. However I would recommend the 63in version* for larger vehicles. This will be much easier to still clear snow from the one side without too much stretching.
The ice scraper is double sided. It has a smooth side for regular use, and a reverse side with a serrated edge to chip off stubborn ice.
An aluminum pole ensures it is lightweight and maneuverable.
A foam grip insulates your hands from the cold metal pole. However it only covers a very small section, and you will need to grip it often by the pole itself, which will can become extremely cold to touch.
Performance
With a traditional brush, snow can often escape under the bristles particularly as they soften over time. However, the foam head on this model is highly effective at clearing most snow in one motion, rarely requiring a second sweep.
The ice scraper is made of ultra-robust polycarbonate that scrapes snow with east. And still remains sharp and effective after many seasons of use.
Quality
It is sturdy and well built and all the materials are high quality. After 4 seasons of use, my brush still works as good as the day I purchased it and shows little signs of wear and tear.
